THANK YOU FOR A BEAUTIFUL EVENT

SEE PHOTOS HERE!

Sunday June 30th, enjoy the long days on sunlight high on the roof of Garden Village and eat native foods cooked by Crystal Wahpepah of the Kickapoo Nation. We'll use the evening's discussion to discuss indigenous cuisine, the ways in which food and land ownership have been used a tool against native populations. And how we can do our part in the revitalization of truly 'local' foods!

Speaking of delicious, our menu for the evening is in the works. We should have it completed soon, stay tuned!
*If you have any dietary restrictions, please let us know when you purchase your ticket and/or email us with details so we can plan accordingly. No changes can be made the night of*

Our partner organization for the evening is Sogorea Te Land Trust, an urban Indigenous women-led community organization that facilitates the return of Chochenyo and Karkin Ohlone lands in the San Francisco Bay Area to Indigenous stewardship. Guided by the belief that land is the foundation that can bring us together, Sogorea Te calls on us all to heal from the legacies of colonialism and genocide, to remember different ways of living, and to do the work that our ancestors and future generations are calling us to do

Pricing: We're committed to being and building an inclusive community while also making the event sustainable for the chef. Everyone is welcome at our table and to help that happen we are offering sliding scale tickets prices which include dinner, drinks (alcoholic & non) & stimulating discussion.
$85 - A portion of your ticket subsidizes someone who can pay less.
$65 - If you earn a living wage this ticket helps the chefs do the same.

and are excited to have you at the table!
If you are feeling inspired to come but $45 doesn’t work, please email us.

As our political discourse gets more polarized, it becomes ever more important to have places where we can have meaningful connection discovering inherent connections to one another. Join us for an evening of delicious food paired with just as delicious conversation, leaving with both your belly and mind full.
